  • Cloud based system data processing 1 billion financial transactions in one hour.
  • Scalable data grid speeding up bookings search and price calculations.
  • Real-time pricing engine calculating and distributing prices on the basis of current quotes from financial markets.
  • Web platforms for management of large scale real estate projects.
  • E-commerce and investment platform for one of the largest UK wine merchants.
  • Analysis and design of system integration strategy for a global FMCG company.

As a Java developer, your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

  • First-class communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of Java and web application development.
  • Knowledge of good software development practices

If you want to work as a consultant deploying our financial system across major clients located in Europe, working every Monday-Wednesday in Oslo with Thursday-Friday in our Wroclaw office, learning a lot and having fun with an experienced team, we need to talk!

Who are we?

  • We build bespoke software systems for clients located in the UK, Western Europe and the US.
  • We specialise in building high-performance data processing systems (in-memory grid data processing, big data) and scalable web applications.

As a Technical Consultant, your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

  • First-class communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Practical understanding of relational databases, SQL, Linux console and Linux scripting/tools..
  • You can tell a difference between JDBC and ODBC, between HTTP, HTTPS and SSL, and between JSON and XML.
  • You can figure out how to import/export CSV and any custom data format into/from a database.
  • English language skills to a business standard.
  • Experience in software development in Java will be a plus.

Your daily job would be to:

  • Configure and deploy a financial system working with on-site consultants (now in Oslo) and development team located in Wroclaw.
  • Analyse and summarise functional and non-functional requirements collected on-site.
  • Transform custom data feeds into different formats and build system integrations in database and/or Linux.

  • First-class communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of Java and web application development.
  • Demonstrable application development experience in building Mulesoft (Mule ESB) integrations and custom connectors.
  • Familiarity with different connection protols: JMS, SOAP, WSDL, REST, XML/JSON processing, OAuth, JDBC.
  • Knowledge of good software development practices
  • English language skills to a business standard
